  • FS: Custom Paint Protection Strips for E36 spoilers

I had some extras of these custom stenciled directly from the factory originals but using Orafol Oraguard which is modern paint protection film that is UV resistent, self-healing, and crystal clear. These are designed to replace the aged strips under the overhanging edges of your spoiler and protect the tops of the quarter panel from being scratched when closing the trunk. The OEM film as installed on factory spoiler cars and included with NLA Spoiler Mounting Hardware kit (P/N 51 71 2 260 329) is junk and yellows with age as you can see from the photos of a brand new NOS strip by comparison.

    $20 shipped

I got two pairs from Jon. Great quality and the perfect part to fix the aged protection strips most factory wings have (or wing addons do not have).

Jon, you need to have the hood latch ones done next. The manual release latch that slides into the radiator support.

Wish these were available prior to me installing my wing several years back... I'll take a set though. Please inbox me details on how to purchase.

They don't go under the wing. They protect the quarter panel from the overhang of the spoiler from hitting it.

I know. I meant that my paint has unfortunately already become damaged in that area from years of opening and closing without protection.

Ha that one. Does that even have a partnumber? I've never seen it mentioned as a separate part.
