  • brake booster question

    hi forum members,

    '02 m3 here..

was doing the brake booster replacement work ..
just found out the part i ordered "34332282622" is for '03 onward ..
and currently on the car was installed with "34332228985"..

do anyone know if i can still install the 34332282622 to my car?
the obvious difference i see is the thickness of the part .. so, maybe brake master cylinder will be a bit more toward the firewall ..
seems orientation is all the same..

currently car is having a symptom of leaking somewhere .. pedal becomes firm after couple hrs of parking ..

thank you and appreciate any insights..

perhaps it's due to MK20 and MK60 dsc module's difference?

so, the older one needs a bigger boost?
in this case..if i swap into the later part ... maybe it will have less boost ... brake feel will become softer and deeper?

but if it's still workable .. then maybe i can still use it...
