  • Instrument Cluster frozen??

Recently my cluster stopped working. Pretty much none of the gauges worked but the OBC and variable rev limiter stayed on. This was resolved by unplugging and plugging it back in. Yesterday the same problem happened and today when I went to start the car, the needles went to the positions they're at in the photo and now they're stuck there. I tried unplugging the cluster and plugging it back in but that didn't work this time. I checked the fuses associated with the cluster and those were fine too. Not really sure what's happening here, hoping someone can chime in with any experience they've had. Thank you

    Hmm. That's a weird one.

Try the cluster reset from the hidden menu. https://www.e46fanatics.com/threads/...9/post-2491780

I tried that to no avail. I ended up bringing it to this guy Scott today and he fixed it for $100. Something about a bad trace and a poor power supply. All good now though!
