  • Door card insert glue

Helping someone with reinstalling some center inserts on pre airbag door cards. Can someone remind me of the best adhessive to use?

it has been a while and I can’t recall if barge contact cement was the preferred choice

Not sure if it would be best for the center inserts, but I've had great luck with original Gorilla Glue for my door card repairs.

I actually just removed my door cards the other day to install some new bav sound speakers, and the plastic door pockets and brackets I had re-glued 10 years ago were still really solid.

      I've had great success with 3M Windo-Weld:

3M™ Windo-Weld™ Super Fast Urethane securely bonds replacement auto glass to car bodies, including windshields, backlites and sidelites. Formulated for convenience, this medium viscosity adhesive is a single-component, moisture-curing product that requires no mixing, which is an advantage because many windshield replacements are done at the customer's location away from the shop.

        Ultra Black Silicone.

Anything that hardens stiff will fail rather quickly.
