  • Remounting the High Arch spoiler

Like everyone who has one of these, I'm sure your paint protection cutouts have yellowed, cracked or need to be replaced. I'm reinstalling the OE wing after finally getting around to having it repainted and replacing the boat anchor Ebay wing the PO put on years ago. Does anyone make these cutouts available for purchase or is my best bet to just buy a sheet of laminx and cut them myself?

I had some extras of these custom stenciled directly from the factory originals but using Orafol Oraguard which is modern paint protection film that is UV resistent, self-healing, and crystal clear. These are designed to replace the aged strips under the overhanging edges of your spoiler and protect the tops of the quarter

I'd be curious what condition your screws and nutserts are in. Keep us posted when you remove/reinstall!

I'd be curious and interested as well. I'm going to need to find a solution as I do not have any screws...

If the spoilers still have the existing factory inserts, then the correct screw is:

"...are M5x16 .8mm pitch. They are countersunk and domed on the top exactly as shown by the below McMaster part linked.

            https://www.mcmaster.com/90258a251"

Now the only issue is that these aftermarket ones are stainless steel which could potentially cause or accelerate corrosion with the factory nut inserts (zinc coated) due to dissimilar metals.

No details on the OEM part number for screws at this point.

update: shop installed it for me after paint, which I specifically requested for them not to do....no clue what they used, I basically parked it and haven't messed with it or looked at it since. Jay is hooking me up with some protective strips, so when I put those on I will document. Appreciate the help with the hardware
