High. lmao. Everyone wants an arm and a leg for their cars now, nice ones I can understand... but for just a regular ass garden variety M3, basically add 5-8k to what you think it "should" cost and that's what people want now.

Same here in EU. If you see what you 'have' to pay for a high mileage, worn-out M3, even any 6 cylinder model, is just crazy.

If I didn't get mine in 2013, I wouldn't never owned one. Happy I did.

That was a time capsule in a desirable (not to me) color, 30k miles. It seems good colors get good money, silver/black not so much.

I went to the Bimmerfest here in LA today, 1st year that e36s were invited. Guys with 245k miles asking $25k.; I get it, the motors are pretty stout but that is a lot of miles on a chassis. Every pro I spoke with (Ireland Engineering etc.) told me they were on the lookout for a clean e36M. The cat is out of the bag.

Whatever the price is now, it will be twice (if not more) 5 years from now - and you know it. You want one - get the best you can afford right now.
I'm having E30M flashbacks, when I was turning my nose away from a decent, but somewhat beat 78K mile E30M in 1999 for $10k, to willing to pay up to $50k right now for something similar. And I can't find anything - simply because everything decent is $80+

I have 2 95s and delighted with both; Daytona and Avus. I merely think it would be helpful if we posted prices here and were all aware of where things are going. We have all passed on cars we should have bought, my list is very long.

I’ll let you guys know if I ever move on from mine. I might need to move it in a year or two as I have something lined up that’s very special to me, if the owner decides to move it. I’m not in this to make money. I’m just in it to get cars.

I know I’m in the minority, but I can’t get past the white. I absolutely hate it. I like it on other peoples cars, but not mine.

Red/white/black/silver UGH. Just missed an Avus/Black coupe at $18k here in LA with 122k miles.
