    • Dropped the fuel tank today. Looks like I'll be replacing a few hoses and electrical connectors. I've got my outer CVs soaking in the leftover gasoline now. More cleaning and RTAB reinforcement paint in the very near future.

There's a little wave in the bumper dead center under the plate, but given the inability of the shop to even plug in the tail lights or put anything back where they found it, I assume that's due to some missing pins. They lost all the pins for the trunk lid carpet, so I can't pretend I'm surprised. I'll have to order some and correct that. But the tail panel and the trunk lid both look perfect - you'd never know I got hit.

        • Nice, which shop did you use? I'm local to you and am in need of some minor body/paint work.

It's called The Paint Guy. I do have some quibbles. I wrote a little more about the experience a couple days (weeks? I don't remember) ago. Page 7 of this thread. It you've got a driver and you're looking for a decent repair for a reasonable price, I think it's fine. If you've got more of a no-expense-spared, low-mile garage queen, it's probably not up to your standard.

            • Moved the car seat over for an important breakfast tomorrow with the little lady.
