As a reference point, I just sold my E36 a few weeks ago. I'm in Canada.

    1999
    Fern Green over black
    52,500 miles (84,000 kms)
Bone stock. no mods at all (with the exception of a dinan shifter)
    no accidents or repaints

This is the car as it sold on BAT a few years ago:

I sold the car for $27,500 USD ($36,000 CAD)

I feel like I got good money for it. Some people have suggested I sold it for too low. Time will tell I suppose.

Now I'm looking for an E46 cabriolet to replace it as it will be more fun to enjoy with the family.

Congrats! I think you did very well especially given it sold for $18K a couple of years ago! I've decided to hold on to mine for a while longer. I smile every time I take it out for a ride. Plan to head north this weekend into the NH White Mountains for a Fall Foliage Covered Bridges drive before getting her ready for winter hibernation.
